The Wilderness Gateway Campground is a fantastic launching point for some of our favorite and most frequent trails. The eastern end of the Downriver Trail is just around the corner, and the Boulder Creek Trail takes off from the middle of the campgrounds.

Lance and his wife are going to be camping out here for the weekend and would love some company. Along with enjoying the serenity of the campground Lance and his wife have a couple of hikes planned. You are welcome to join us for the whole weekend, a day hike, or any part of the weekend you'd like! Just look for the Clearwater Trekkers sign in either camp site B or C.

Saturday--9:30 AM - We'll hike the Downriver Trail from the Wilderness Gateway to Fish Creek and back. This is about 3 1/2 miles one way.

Sunday--8:30 AM - We'll hike up Boulder Creek from the Wilderness Gateway as far as people have the energy and time for. We plan to return in the early afternoon to give everyone time to relax before packing and driving home.
